Rajasthan and its Princely states
Rajasthan is bordered in the North-west by Pakistan, in the North by Punjab, in the North-East by Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, in South-east by Madhya Pradesh and South-west by Gujarat. Rajasthan was made up of "Princely states''. It is one of the most attractive States of the Indian sub-continent. In Rajasthan there are many contrasts, vivid memories of the Maharajahs, nobles and their lavish styles of life. To stay in certain palaces or in nobles’ heritage houses in Rajasthan, it is to experience the memories like the Maharajahs and nobles. In these palaces and heritages houses certain descendants are still living in the same premises. You are at times welcomed by them as special guests and perhaps enjoy a meal with certain nobles. The balconies could finely chiseled, may have silk hangings, with a fine taste of decoration. Your own princely stay in these places!
